Place wires over and through cover slots and into slots of
3M? Fixture Unit 3829-03 with a pulling-down motion to
hold wire in place.
Install 3M? Cutting
Unit 3829-05. Push it
in until it stops.
Place 2 nd cover on top of 3M? Slotted Cover Assembly.
To assemble cover no. 2:
A. Rub paper liner to assure adhesive transfer, then
remove paper liner.
B. Position notched end of cover no. 2 toward
operator.
C. Press cover no. 2 onto assembly in fixture unit.
Slide 3M? Fixture Unit 3829-02, with the
completed assembly, into the hand press until the
fixture unit stops. Close the handles of the hand
press to terminate and trim the wires.
Completed Assembly of the Two Covers and Cable
A. Hold down the assembly when removing the cut wires.
B. Remove assembly from 3M? Fixture Unit.
