Cover set-up and installation
Place correct cover stop here.
Number on the cover stop indicates
the correct connector size.
To install the slotted cover:
A. Close cover locks.
B. Check that slotted cover is forward.
C. Place and push cover against cover stop.
D. Push cover down and behind the cover lock.
Slide cover lock in
to close and locate
the cover position.

Backshells -- remember to put them on .
Step One
Cable preparation – expose approximately three inches of cable.
Position wires in cover slot by spreading individual wires
into color groups as directed by your wiring diagram.
Hold the cable in the
cable clamp by
tightening this knob.
Position 3M? Fixture Unit 3829-02
in 3M Hand Press 3829.
Place cable into the clamp to
start the assembly process.
