1. INTRODUCTION
Extraction Tool 90471-1 extracts an individual SL-156
Receptacle Contacts 770476-[ ] from SL-156
Connector Housing 770849-[ ]. See Figure 1 for an

4. MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
To ensure proper operation, it is recommended that
the tool be inspected immediately on its arrival and at

2. DESCRIPTION (See Figure 1)
The tip of the extraction tool is designed to enter the
locking lance slot of the connector and depress the
contact locking lance. The tool stop prevents contact
damage due to over-insertion of the extraction tool.
3. EXTRACTION PROCEDURE
1. Position the extraction tool as shown in Figure 1.
Insert the tip straight into the connector locking
lance slot of the contact to be removed until the tool
stop bottoms on the connector housing.
2. Grasp the wire of the contact being removed, and
pull the contact out of the connector.
