The
ADS8519
is
a
complete
16-bit
sampling
analog-to-digital (A/D) converter using state-of-the-art
±2.0 LSB Max INL
CMOS structures. It contains a complete 16-bit,
±1 LSB Max DNL; 16-Bits No Missing Codes
capacitor- based, successive approximation register
SPI Compatible Serial Output with
(SAR)
A/D
converter
with
sample-and-hold,
Daisy-Chain (TAG) Feature and 3-State Bus
reference, clock, and a serial data interface. Data can
be output using the internal clock or can be
5-V Analog Supply, 5.25 V ~ 1.65 V I/O Supply
synchronized to an external data clock. The ADS8519
Pinout Similar to ADS7809 (Low Speed) and
also provides an output synchronization pulse for
12-Bit ADS7808/8508
ease of use with standard DSP processors.
No External Precision Resistors Required
The ADS8519 is specified at a 250-kHz sampling rate
Uses Internal or External Reference
over the full temperature range. Precision resistors
provide various input ranges including ±10 V and 0 V

to 5 V, while the innovative design allows operation
