The latest specification for PCI based industrial comput-
ers is called CompactPCI. It is electrically a superset of
desktop PCI with IEEE 1101.10 mechanical form factor.
Vector offers RoHS compliant 3U and 6U cPCI back-
planes sold separately or integrated into any VectorPak
TM
subrack or chassis. Designed to meet PICMG 2.0 Rev 3,
Hot-swap PICMG 2.1 Rev 1 and available in 2 to 8 slots.

Connectors:
The CompactPCI connectors are shielded 2mm pitch, 5+2
row connector, compliant to IEC 61076-4-101. Main fea-
tures of this connectors are the pin stagging for hot swap
and shielding for EMI/RFI protection.
