Evaluation Board
FEB388: 400-W Evaluation Board Using FAN9611/12
FEB388 is one of the evaluation boards for an interleaved
dual boundary-conduction-mode PFC converter. It is
rated at 400 W (400 V/1 A) power. With phase
management, efficiency is maintained above 96% even
down at 10% of the rated output power. The efficiencies
for full-load condition exceed 96% as shown below.
Figure 63 and Figure 64 show the phase management
with the default minimum threshold values of the IC.
They can be adjusted upwards to achieve a different
efficiency profile (Figure 65 and Figure 66) where phase
management thresholds are adjusted to 30% / 44% of
