FL9B5BH Series
1.0 Description
These filters are manufactured with a distributed passive network of ele-
ments in a surface mountable 6-pin BGA package.
They perform an
absorptive, low pass function that attenuates high frequencies. The high
bandwidth BGA surface mount construction creates a high performance
filter that is easily placable which aids manufacturability.
Thin Film Technology's FL9B5BH***S series of surface mount low pass fil-
ters are designed for use in Duo-Binary modulation schemes where flat
group delay and good return loss beyond the cutoff frequency are impor-
tant characteristics. The discrete (0.25Ghz) cutoff series of 1/4 bit rates
are intended for use in varying bit rates and application requirements
including OC-192(10Gb/s) and forward error correction beyond 12Gb/s.
