Sample application circuit 3 (four dry cells 3.0V to 6.4V)
This circuit is compatible with the VBATT voltage ranging from 3.0V to 6.4V. The START-UP circuit is not used
because the operation begins with 3.0V. The VBATT voltage is used directly as VCC of IC.
* When the START-UP circuit is not used, the VCC operation voltage of IC ranges from 1.8V to 1.2V.
Operation procedure of the sample application circuit 3
(1) Carry out initial setting.
Set the CTL pin to LOW.
Set STBY1 to 6 pins to LOW.
(2) Operate the circuit.
Apply voltage to VBATT.
Set the CTL pin to Hi. The reference voltage and triangular wave circuits are activated.
Set STBY of the channel to be operated to Hi.
The circuit starts operation. As ch3 to ch6 generate the gate voltage of external NMOS from the voltage (3.3V)
generated by ch1, operate ch3 to ch6 after rise of the voltage of 3.3V.
Turn OFF the CTL pin in the final step.
