Overview
The LC83200W is an IC that integrates all the functions required for Dolby headphone in a single chip. This IC generates
Dolby headphone audio output signals from either a 5.1-channel or 2-channel audio input. It provides DH1, DH2, DH3
and stereo mixdown as Dolby Headphone room modes, and can be used in any product that has a headphone jack.

Dolby headphone room mode processing functions: DH1, DH2, DH3, and stereo mixdown modes
Supported sampling rates: 44.1kHz and 48kHz
No external memory required
Audio interfaces
Serial audio input: 2 channels (left and right) or 5.1 channels (left, center, right, left surround, right surround, and
low frequency effect)
Serial audio output: 2 channels (left and right)
Formats: I2S (24 bits), left justified (24 bits), right justified (16, 18, 20, or 24 bits)
Muting
Host interface: The IC registers can be set using serial data sent over the microcontroller interface, or can be set in
parallel using IC pins.
