Rating condition for extended periods may affect device reliability and lifetime.
Note 2: The LTC3852 is tested under pulsed load conditions such that
T J ≈ T A . The LTC3852E is guaranteed to meet speci?cations from
0°C to 85°C junction temperature. Speci?cations over the –40°C to
125°C operating junction temperature range are assured by design,
characterization and correlation with statistical process controls. The
LTC3852I is guaranteed over the –40°C to 125°C operating junction
temperature range. T J is calculated from the ambient temperature, T A and
power dissipation P D according to the following formula:
Note 5: Rise and fall times are measured using 10% and 90% levels. Delay
times are measured using 50% levels. Rise and fall times are assured by
design, characterization and correlation with statistical process controls.
Note 6: The minimum on-time condition is speci?ed for an inductor
peak-to-peak ripple current equal to 40% of I MAX (see Minimum On-Time
Considerations in the Applications Information Section).
Note 7: V IN1 = 3.3V; Connect V PUMP , V IN2 and INTV CC together.
Note 8: R OL = (2V IN - V OUT )/I OUT
Note 9: V IN2 swept while not connected to V PUMP or INTV CC.
Note 10: Guaranteed by design, not tested in production.
T J = T A + (P D ? 38°C/W)
Note 3: The LTC3852 is tested in a feedback loop that servos V ITH to a
speci?ed voltage and measures the resultant V FB .
Note 4: Dynamic supply current is higher due to the gate charge being
delivered at the switching frequency. See Applications information.
