The PWM Frequency Setting
This IC outputs the PWM signal formed by internal oscillator between the pins OUT3 and OUT6.
The frequency of this PWM signal can be selected from four stages of 60kHz, 85kHz, 120kHz and 170kHz.
Select the frequency in consideration of the motor characteristics, the resonant frequency of the set and so on.
The PWM mode Setting
When the PWM signal is output, either between Charge and Brake (Slow Decay) or between Charge and Standby (Fast
Decay) is repeated.
The output transistor function is shown by the following FIG when the direction of current is defined from OUTA to
OUTB as Charge.
[Reference Data]
The coil current value is shown in the following graph. The measurement condition is as follows.
● VB1 is 5.0V.
● The coil resistance RL is 20Ω.
