Construction notes for luminaries producers and other users
Solder connections should only be done on the designated solder pads (marked with
10V +/-).
The smallest unit (56 mm – 4 LEDs) can be removed by cutting between the designate
solder pads (refer to technical drawing part A).
Each individual unit can be seperated carefully by of scissors.
Maximum length of PCB is 2072 mm with power feed at one end. The complete mo-
dule (4200 mm) can be operated with a power feed in the middle of the module.
Please ensure that the supply is of adequate power to operate the total load.
The module is not protected against humidity or dust. The construction of the luminaire
should ensure that the complete system is protected from these external factors in ac-
cordance with European Standards.
The fixing of the module is done by means of double-faced adhesive on the back of the
flexible PCB.
The minimum bending radius is 2 cm. The module may be bent over a smaller radius
but only once and then where there are no electronic components. The temperature of
the module should be measured in the luminare under stable conditions with the as-
sistance of a temperature sensitive sticker. The measured temperature takes into ac-
count the ambient temperature of the luminaire and hence the lifetime to be expected.
