Thermal Considerations
The PLD08 series converters are designed for
natural or forced convection cooling. The output
power of the converters is determined by the
maximum semiconductor junction temperature.
To provide reliable long-term operation of the
converters, Power-One limits maximum allowable
junction temperature to 120°C.
