General description
The TDA8708A is an analog input interface for video signal processing. It includes a video amplifier with clamp and gain control, an 8-bit analog-to-digital
converter (ADC) with a sampling rate of 32 MHz and an input selector.

Clamp and Automatic Gain Control (AGC) functions for CVBS and Y signals

No sample-and-hold circuit required.

The TDA8708A has white peak control in modes 1 and 2 whereas the TDA8708B has control in mode 1 only.
