APPLICATION INFORMATION
A converter with the TEA1506 consists of an input filter, a transformer with a third winding (auxiliary), and an output stage
with a feedback circuit.
Capacitor C VCC (at pin V CC ) buffers the supply voltage of the IC, which is powered via the resistor R S during start-up and
via the auxiliary winding during operation.
A sense resistor converts the primary current into a voltage at pin I sense . The value of this sense resistor defines the
maximum primary peak current.
