General Description
The block diagram shows the major buck regulator blocks, the linear voltage regulators,
reset, watchdog and SPI. In the application section also the required external
components are shown and discribed.
3.3
Buck Regulator
The buck regulator consists of a DMOS power switch with driver, pulse width modulator,
oscillator and feedback amplifier. The oscillator frequency is 330 kHz.
The error amplifier compares the feedback voltage to an internal reference and regulates
the duty cycle of the PWM signal.
The pulse width modulator operates in current mode for best loop stability. The PWM can
turn on the switch staticly if the IN-voltage is low.

The buck regulator is designed for output currents up to 1.5A.
3.3.1
Current Transition Time
To limit the bandwidth of the switching transients the current slope can be set by an
external resistor within 20ns to 80ns transition time.
