The ZMN2400HPDK Pro and ZMN2400DK Pro Developer ’s
Kit comprises four serial interface boards plus one serial gateway
board built around the ZMN2400HP or ZMN2400 module.
Developers can get up and running quickly with these kits using
either USB or RS-232 interfaces. The self-contained modems
have momentary switches, LEDs, one potentiometer, and a ther-
mistor and can operate on standard 9 volt alkaline batteries. This
provides a simple, effective way to test the range and operation
of the radios in the real-time environment.
The serial gateway is programmable using a simplified,
human-accessible command language. Bootloader code in the
modules allows the user to develop custom profiles1 and
program the modules through the serial interface.
The onboard I/O can be disconnected, allowing user inputs
to be connected to the module inputs. The ZBDemo program
included on the supplied CD allows the reading and writing of
end device inputs and outputs as well as network discovery and
configuration.
