DESCRIPTION:
This cable cutter is designed for cutting copper and aluminium cable sizes up to of 480mm2 (1000MCM) (solid and
stranded wire) with insulation diameter up to 54mm (2.06”) maximum. This tool is not recommended for cable or
wire smaller than 8AWG.
WARNING:
Do not cut live circuits!
This sign specifies danger of electric shock.
Failure to observe can result in danger to life and limb .
CAUTION: Never cut steel wire, damage to the cutting blades will result.
OPERATION
SWIVEL
BLADE
1. Open the cable cutter by loosening the locking latch at the
base of the movable handle of the tool.
2. Open the swivel blade in the opposite direction of the fixed

blade.
CAUTION: Always keep hands and fingers out of the cutting area!
3. Insert the desired cable into the radius of the fixed blade.
4. Rotate the swivel blade into the fixed blade until the cable is

secured by both blades. The ratchet and stopper pawl will
audibly click into place.
HANDLES
WARNING: Make sure that the cable is Disconnected from any
power supply and does not contain any steel strands.
5. By pushing on the movable handle, the swivel blade will move
one tooth at a time in direction of the fixed blade, cutting into
the cable.
