Figure 11–1 shows the ordering codes for automotive-grade devices offered in the
MAX 7000A device family.

Quartus II Software Support
Legacy support for MAX 7000A automotive grade devices in Altera Quartus II
design software requires special approval. Contact the nearest Altera sales
representative to submit your request.
The Quartus II software includes HDL and schematic design entry, compilation and
logic synthesis, full simulation and advanced timing analysis, and device
programming.

To target an automotive-grade MAX 7000A device in your design in the Quartus II
software, follow these steps:
1. On the Assignments menu, click Device. The Settings dialog box appears.
2. In the Family drop-down list, select MAX7000AE.
3. Under Target device, select Specific device selected in ‘Available devices’ list.
