Sample application circuit 1 (two dry cells 1.5V to 3.2V)
This circuit is compatible with the VBATT voltage of 1.5V to 3.2V. To enable operation at low voltage, the
START-UP circuit is used to cause operation at CH6 VBATT voltage of 1.5V. The voltage generated at CH c is used as
VCC of IC.
* When the START-UP circuit is used, the VCC operation voltage of IC ranges from 2.5 to 12V.
Operation procedure of the sample application circuit 1
(1) Carry out initial setting.
Set the CTL = STBY6 pin to LOW.
Set STBY 1 to 6 pins to LOW.
(2) Operate the circuit.
Apply voltage to VBATT.
Be sure to set the CTL = STBY6 pin to simultaneous HI. The reference voltage and triangular wave circuits are
activated.
CH6 is activated, with VCC applied to IC. With VCC = 2.3V, starting operation is changed over to the normal
operation.
After full rise of the voltage at Point F, set STBY of the channel to be operated to HI. The circuit starts operation.
As CH1 and CH2 generate the voltage (1.5V, 1.8V) through step-down from the voltage (3.3V) generated by CH3,
operate CH1 and CH2 after rise of the voltage of 3.3V. Set ON/OFF 6 of the boosting application to HI after full
rise of the voltage at Point F.
