14) Observe correct audio source polarity. Connect
the audio source to AIN+ and AIN-. Refer to the
MAX8821 data sheet for more information about dif-
ferential audio signals, single-ended audio signals,
input capacitors (C1, C2 in Figure 5), and the com-
mon-mode bias voltage range.
15) Connect the positive lead of DMM1 to LDO1 and
the negative lead to GND.
16) Connect the positive lead of DMM2 to LDO2 and
the negative lead to GND.
17) Turn on the power supply.
18) Turn on the audio source.
19) Start the MAX8821 EV kit software by opening its icon
at Start | Programs | MAX8821 EVALUATION KIT .
