3.7 Regulatory Compliance
The PLRXPL-Vx-SH4-23-N optical transceiver complies with international Elec-
tromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and international safety requirements and
standards. EMC performance is dependent on the overall system design. Informa-
tion included herein is intended as a gure of merit for designers to use as a basis
for design decisions.
The PLRXPL-Vx-SH4-23-N optical transceiver is lead-free and RoHS-compliant
per Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27
January 2003 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in elec-
trical and electronic equipment.
