Rabbit offers a RabbitFLEX Keypad/Display Kit for the RabbitFLEX board that provides the hardware
components required to run the sample programs and to demonstrate the functionality of your keypad/dis-
play design. Table D-1 lists the items in the RabbitFLEX Keypad/Display Kit along with their part num-
bers.

D.1 Keypad
To make the hardware connections between the keypad and the RabbitFLEX board, you will first need:
? One of the cable assemblies from the RabbitFLEX BL300F Tool Kit
? The keypad and the keypad connector from the RabbitFLEX Keypad/Display Kit.
Solder the green wires from the cable assembly to the keypad connector as shown in Figure D.1 . Slide the
flexible cable from the keypad into the keypad connector as shown in the diagram and connect the friction-
lock connector of the cable assembly to J5 on the RabbitFLEX board.
D.2 Keypad Template
If you want to label the keypad keys, a piece of paper can be inserted between the two layers of the key-
pad.
