In case of using internal resistors, Ra and Rb. (IRS = "H")
When IRS pin is “ H” , resistor Ra is connected internally between VR pin and VSS, and
Rb is connected between V0 and VR. We determine V0 by two instructions, "Regulator
Resistor Select" and "Set Reference Voltage".
In case of using external resistors, Ra and Rb. ( IRS = "L" )
When IRS pin is “ L” , it is necessary to connect external regulator resistor Ra between
VR and VSS, and Rb between V0 and VR.
For a particular liquid, the optimum VLCD can be calculated for a given multiplex rate.
For duty ratio is 1/43, the optimum operating voltage of the liquid can be calculated as:
