Assembly Step Out
Description
If the application is halted while executing a function, this command
continues execution of the function. Execution stops at the
instruction following the current function. If the debugger is not in
the process of executing a function calls, the Step Out command is
not performed.
If the application is halted, performs a single step at the assembly
level. Execution continues for one CPU instruction from the point it
was halted. This command is similar to the Single Step command,
but executes one machine instruction rather than a high level
language statement.
If the application is halted, performs a single step at the assembly
level, stepping over subroutine call instructions.
If the application is halted inside a function, this command continues
execution and stops on the CPU instruction following the current
function invocation. This command is similar to the Step Out
command, but stops before the assignment of the result from the
function call.
