Basic Set Current Switching (CLK) and Forward/Reverse Switching (FR) Operation
The IC internal D/A converter advances by 1 bit on each input clock pulse rising edge.
The FR pin switches between clockwise (CW) and counterclockwise (CCW) modes; the position number advance
direction is changed by switching modes.
In CW mode, the channel 2 current lags the channel 1 current by 90°.
In CCW mode, the channel 2 current leads the channel 1 current by 90°.
OE, RSTB pins operation description
If the OE pin is set low, the output is turned off and set to the high-impedance state. However, since the internal logic
circuits continue to operate, the position number will advance if the CLK signal is input. Therefore, when the OE pin is
returned to the high level, the IC will generate an output level according to the position number as advanced by the
CLK input.
If the RSTB pin is set low, the output goes to the initial state and the MO output is also set low. When the RSTB is set
high after that, output starts at the initial state and the position number advances at the next CLK input.
