Sine wave decreasing direction
The current control modes operate in the following sequence.
The circuit switches to charge mode when the chopping oscillator starts up.
(A period in which the circuit is forcibly set to charge mode exists, regardless of which of the coil current (ICOIL)
and the set current (IREF) is larger, for 1/8 of a single chopping period.)
In charge mode, the coil current (ICOIL) and the set current (IREF) are compared.
If an ICOIL < IREF state exists during the charge period:
The circuit remains in charge mode until ICOIL ≥ IREF. After that, it switches to slow decay mode, and finally
switches to fast decay mode for a period that is 1/8 of the chopping period.
If no ICOIL < IREF state exists during the charge period:
The circuit switches to fast decay mode and attenuates the coil current in fast decay mode until the end of the
chopping period.
The circuit repeats the above operation. Normally, in the sine wave increasing direction, it operates in slow (+fast)
decay mode, in the sine wave decreasing direction, it operates in fast decay mode until the current is attenuated to the
set value and after that switches to slow decay mode.
