Current-to-voltage conversion of satellite data signals
TLE7719-T converts the current modulated signal at LINEx into a digital voltage signal.
This voltage signal can be monitored at pin LINEL12 (for channels LINE1 and LINE2) or
LINEL34 (for channels LINE3 and LINE4)
Idle current on pin LINEx will generate a digital high signal at the pin LINELx. High
current exceeding the current threshold value will force Pin LINELx to low. The outputs
to be monitored via LINELx-Pins are selected by using the LineLevel SPI command (see
Figure 7

Over-temperature protection and leakage detection
TLE7719-T provides an over-temperature shut down for each channel to prevent from
device overheating in case of excessive power dissipation in the output stages.
Additionally, an average chip temperature measurement including a digital warning bit is
provided to detect internal or external fault conditions.
By measuring the idle current at each LINEx output, TLE7719-T is able to detect
excessive leakage currents. When the integrated line current becomes too high, the
status bits in the Satellite Failure Register (SFR) indicates “Leakage to GND”. An
integrated line current below the detection threshold is indicated in the SFR as “Leakage
to supply voltage”.
