Measured phase-noise for this circuit using a coupled line filter with 280MHz 90-degree bandwidth is shown in Figure 7. The circuit has
been phase-locked using the on-chip prescalar and a commercial synthesizer IC with a loop bandwidth of 5kHz. The phase-noise slope is
20dB per decade above 100kHz, indicating that flicker noise does not contribute to phase-noise at offsets >100kHz.
