Normal operation of the backup battery charger
The backup battery charger checks if it is actually
charging the battery (bit BUChAct=’1’) and it is
disabled if it is not. Every 10s (every 64s in state

“Off”) the voltage of the backup battery is checked
again to determine if charging is required. This
practically reduces the current consumption to 0 if
the backup battery is full.
