and the bypass capacitor, and the trace length connecting the bypass capacitor to be minimized.
External p-Channel MOSFET Gate Drive. It is high to keep the switch off during fault condition, including
output overload, short circuit, FB fault latch, and thermal protection. Leave the pin unconnected if the
external pFET is not placed.
Step-Up Regulator Switching Node. Connect inductor and boost diode here and minimize trace area for
lowest EMI.
Power Ground
Reset Function Output
Step-Up Regulator Feedback Input. FB regulates to 1.233V. Connect FB to the center of a resistive voltage-
divider between the step-up regulator output and AGND to set the regulator ’s output voltage. Place the
resistive voltage-divider within 5mm of FB.
Exposed Pad. Connect EP to AGND.
