8 Pulse Accumulator
The MC68HC11C0 has an 8-bit counter that can be configured for gated time accumulation or to oper-
ate as a simple event counter. The pulse accumulator counter can be read or written at any time.
The PA7 pin can be configured to act as a clock in event counting mode, or as a gate signal to enable
a free-running clock (E divided by 64) to the 8-bit counter in gated time accumulation mode.
