4.2 Oscillation Detection Circuit
In ACTIVE or STANDBY modes, the Oscillator Detection Circuit monitors the oscillator. If it stops for any reason,
a reset is generated for the ‘CPU Reset Delay’.
The oscillation detection circuitry can be inhibited with NoOscWD = 1 in register RegSysCtl3. At power up, and
after any Reset, the function is activated.
During the CPU reset, the Oscillation Detection Circuit is inhibited because the oscillator is either off or in a
stabilization period. Then, it will be active.
