Multiread from Slave with Repeat-Start Condition
3.1.1.3 Single-Write Cycle
The steps in a single-write cycle, Figure 3.7, are:
Step 1.
The master cycle starts the cycle with the start condition.
Step 2.
The master transmits the 7-bit slave address.
Step 3.
The master transmits the eighth bit (R/W) cleared to 0, to
indicate a write cycle.
Step 4.
The addressed slave acknowledges the reception of the slave
address by deasserting SDA (LOW) in the ACK cycle.
Step 5.
The master sends the 8-bit address to indicate the address of
the register.
Step 6.
The addressed slave acknowledges the reception of the
address by deasserting SDA (LOW) in ACK cycle.
Step 7.
The master sends the 8-bit data.
Step 8.
The addressed slave acknowledges the reception of the data
by deasserting SDA (LOW) in ACK cycle.
Step 9.
The master terminates the cycle by issuing a stop condition.
