RS_CORR_COUNT
RS Corrected Error Count
D[7:0] R
This register presents the Reed-Solomon corrected byte
or bit error count since it was last reset (hard reset or
OBC_RESET_CORR).
The bit/byte error count is a function of the
RS_BYTE_SEL conguration bit. When the bit error
count mode is chosen, the value in the register
represents the bit error count, which is the corrected error
count multiplied by eight.
When the rst byte is read by the microprocessor, the
new RS_CORR_COUNT value is downloaded and held
during all the access. OBC generates the
OBC_RESET_CORR pulse signal.
The RS_CORR_COUNT saturates (stops) when it
reaches its maximum count (65,535).
The initial value of RS_CORR_COUNT is 0.
5.13.5 Performance Monitoring Register 6 and 7 (0x37, 0x38)
These are two 8-bit wide, read-only registers.
RS_UNCORR_COUNT
RS Uncorrected Error Count

This register presents the Reed-Solomon uncorrected
blocks count since it was last reset (hard reset or
OBC_RESET_UNCORR).
When the rst byte is read by the microprocessor, the
new RS_UNCORR_COUNT value is downloaded and
held during the complete read access. OBC generates
the OBC_RESET_UNCORR pulse signal.
The RS_UNCORR_COUNT saturates (stops) when it
reaches its maximum count (65,535).
The initial value of RS_UNCORR_COUNT is 0.
