9.4.4 Register overview interrupt request system
Table 22 shows the related interrupt request system ags in alphabetic order.
9.5 Timer unit
The timer derives its clock from the 13.56 MHz on-board chip clock. The microprocessor
can use this timer to manage timing-relevant tasks.
The timer unit may be used in one of the following congurations:
Timeout counter
WatchDog counter
Stopwatch
Programmable one shot
Periodical trigger
The timer unit can be used to measure the time interval between two events or to indicate
that a specic timed event occurred. The timer is triggered by events but does not
inuence any event (e.g. a time-out during data receiving does not automatically inuence
the receiving process). Several timer related ags can be set and these ags can be used
to generate an interrupt.
