This bit indicates the Sniffer type. The Sniffer can be a
CPU or a dedicated port in one of the GT-48002A
devices which was assigned to be the Sniffer.

This bit indicates that there is a CPU in the system.

RMON to PCI Enable.

that is forwarded only to the local ports.
1 - The GT-48002A reads the DA/SA of the packet
that is forwarded to the local ports and the PCI.

0 - There is no limitation on the buffers’ allocation
(other than physical memory size.)

abled.

Forward Multicast.
0 - The GT-48002A forwards Multicast packets to all
the ports and to the CPU.
1 - Multicast packets forwarded only to the CPU.

Partition Enable.
When more than 61 collisions occur while transmit-
ting, the GT-48002A enters the Partition mode. It
waits for the first good packet from the wire, and then
goes back to Normal mode. Under Partition mode it
continues transmitting, but not receiving.

Spanning Tree Enable.
0 - The BPDU (Bridge Protocol Data Unit) packets are
treated as Multicast packets, and therefore are for-
warded to all ports.
