ues in the transport packets and the Local Master Counter (LMC) deter-
mines the correction value that is programmed to the Sigma Delta
Register. Subsequently, the train of pulses changes its duty cycle so the
produced voltage moves the VCxO frequency to the correct position.
Figure 1.2 shows a typical implementation of the L64007 in a satellite
system. The L64007 is in use with these LSI Logic products: the L64704
Single-Chip DBS Receiver and the L64002 MPEG-2 Audio/Video
Decoder. The L64007 provides the transport layer demultiplexing ser-
vices; the L64002 provides the audio and video decoding functions. The
L64002 transfers reconstructed video data to the NTSC/PAL encoder
device and reconstructed audio data to the PCM stereo DAC.
