Register File
Structure
Every block of A/V data transferred from the PID Processor to the CBM
block carries information about the PID index, block length, and error
handling indicator associated with the following block of data.
Error indications coming to the CBM on audio or video PES data are
posted to the A/V output port, triggering an error concealment algorithm
in the A/V decoder device. If an error occurs in PSI-type data, the CBM
resets the address pointer to the last start of section location. The PID
Post-processor can reset the CBM cyclic buffer on either a lter matching
failure or CRC32 check error.
