The host processor uses this group of registers to monitor the frequency
control loop, which locks the decoder frequency on the transmitted pro-
gram frequency. They reside in the Sigma Delta Modulator (SDM) and
support the host CPU in PCR locking (see Section 2.2, Clock Recovery
4.7.1

The SDM is a 16-bit register used to control the output waveforms com-
ing from the MCLK_SDC pin. This programmed value generates various
pulse trains, changing the duty cycle of the output waveforms.

This 16-bit eld determines the number of pulses, and
the duty cycle of these pulses, generated on the
MCLK_SDC output pin. The basic duty cycle unit is
27 MHz.
After reset, the value is 0x8000.
