Features
The L64007:
Complies with MPEG-2 ISO/IEC 13818-1 transport stream specica-
tion.
Supports both serial and parallel transport streams at sustained input
rates up to:
–
60 Mbit/s on the serial interface
–
13 Mbyte/s on the parallel interface
Filters 32 user-programmable PIDs.
–
One audio PID
–
One video PID
–
30 general purpose PIDs
Provides a 512-byte transport buffer for each of the two output ele-
mentary streams (audio/video).
Filters the section layer in compliance with all relevant DVB speci-
cations:
–
12-byte programmable match/mask patterns
–
32 sets provided
CRC32 error detection on all 30 general purpose PIDs.
Provides extended channel storage in external DRAM for an external
audio / video decoder chip.
Detects and handles errors, lost packets, and discontinuity.
Spontaneously detects and handles splice points.
Stores sections of PSI and Private Data in programmable cyclic buff-
ers in external DRAM.
Supports, via its DRAM controller, Slow commodity, EDO, and Fast
Page Mode DRAM devices.
Supports, via its DRAM controller, 1-Mbit up to 16-Mbit DRAM
devices in a 16-bit data conguration.
Contains an on-chip cache controller for improved CPU access.
Supports spontaneous decryption key switching.
Provides PCR recovery.
