Figure 1.3 shows a typical implementation of the L64007 in a cable sys-
tem. This example uses either LSI Logic’s 16VSB Demodulator, or the
L64768 QAM Decoder in the front end, to demodulate the input signal
and generate the transport packet bit stream. All other components in
this cable implementation are the same as those in the satellite imple-
mentation (Figure 1.2).
