Under development Preliminary document
Specifications in this document are tentative and subject to change.

Touch Sensor Control Unit Specifications
Item
Specification
Operating clock (count source)
f1, f2, or f4 (Set the operating clock for the touch sensor
control unit to 4 MHz, 5 MHz, or 20 MHz.)
Pins
Touch detection
36 channels (CH0 to CH35)
System pins
4 channels (CHxA0, CHxA1, CHxB, and CHxC)
Either CHxA0 or CHxA1 is selected by bits CHXAS00 to
CHXAS35 in registers TSCHSEL0 to TSCHSEL2.
Operating modes
Single mode
Touches are detected on a channel.
Set the TSCUMD bit in the TSCUCHC register to 0 (single
mode).
Select any channel by bits CHC0 to CHC5 in the TSCUCHC
register.
Set any channel to be measured to 1 (enabled) by the
corresponding enable bit in the TSIEi (i = 0 to 2) register.
Scan mode
Touches are detected on any multiple channels.
Ascending or descending order can be selected as a channel
scan order.
Set the TSCUMD bit in the TSCUCHC register to 1 (scan
mode).
Select 0 (ascending order) or 1 (descending order) by the
UPDOWN bit in the TSCUCHC register.
Determine the maximum number of channels arbitrarily
selected bits CHC0 to CHC5 in the TSCUCHC register.
Set any channels to be measured to 1 (enabled) by the
corresponding enable bit in the TSIEi (i = 0 to 2) register.
Number of detections
Once
Detection threshold value
Touches are detected at the CHxA0 or CHxA1 pin.
Either CHxA0 or CHxA1 is selected by bits CHXAS00 to
CHXAS35 in registers TSCHSEL0 to TSCHSEL2.
The threshold value of CHxA0 or CHxA1 is set by the I/O
port register.
Detection data transfer method
The measurement data is transferred to RAM using the DTC.
Detection start conditions
Software trigger
External trigger (an event input from the event link controller
(ELC) is used as a trigger)
Detection stop conditions
When an interrupt request is generated after touch detection
and data transfer are completed.
Set the TSCUSTRT bit in theTSCUCR0 register to 0 by a
program.
(If detection is stopped by a program, the value of each
counter is retained and not changed to the value after reset.)
